Edward Carpenter said: "The art of creation,
like every other art, has to be learnt..."
J-planet, a rhodes scholar of the imaginal,
took this to heart.
She learned that quantum entanglement is fascinating.
She learned that creation is precious, cyclical,
and always dancing.
She learned to see with the mind in the heart,
the most difficult thing to see with sometimes.
And she learned to unlearn, and watched the phoenix
soar, soar, beyond, beyond, beyond.
Rainer Maria Rilke said: "A man who can praise
comes toward us like ore out of the silences of rock."
J-planet, although not a man, can indeed praise.
She praises the puddles at her feet, the magic mirrors
of wet-time.
She praises her scripts, her movies yet-to-be,
her ex-datura plant, her cats, and the susurrus
in the canyon.
Most importantly, she praises her special birth,
and in that praising I join her.
A glass of wine is raised.
A hug is sent from afar.

J-Planet praises Darryl, whose eyes see beyond the realm of good and evil to the eternal field the mystic Rumi captures in a poem.
I will meet you there, beloved brother in Spirit.
