In the last post on heart consciousness, I briefly talked about the upward and downward flow of energy and its innate relationship to the nexus-point in the heart. I said that this "nexus-point" senses information and energy in a non-reflexive and non-judgmental way. This is true. The ears and eyes of the heart in no way tries to manipulate rational energy (the energy that descends from the higher levels) or instinctual energy (the energy that ascends from the lower levels). The nexus-point merely interacts with these energies for the sake of transmuting them into divinely human qualities of being. The ears and eyes of the heart are here to deeply feel the energies and supply guidance to a being that is either too grounded in habitual modes of being, or too un-grounded in the chaotic stratosphere of the perfervid imagination. If the heart happened to be reflexive and judgmental, it would push these energy streams away and/or clog the intrinsic flow of the upward movement and the downward movement of consciousness. This would obviously inhibit the flow of existence itself.
I would now like to factor into this study a geometrical shape: the torus.

The torus is a circular field of energy that is shaped like a doughnut. Within the confines of the torus, within the inner regions of the geometric shape itself, flows two opposing currents of energy. If we superimpose the torus shape over the innermost region of heart consciousness, we find an apt pictorial image of what is actually transpiring at the epicenter of the heart; in other words, a poignant metaphor of what the nexus-point actually looks like. In and around the torus shape, all the magical transmutations occur due to an electromagnetic, informational, and spiritual dance of multivalent energies and forces (one could say the booty shake of the anahata mother).
In future posts, I shall further explore the relationship between the torus field and the heart center. I will also factor in more elements and more cosmic lore and love.
