That Other World

We only see one globe,
but the intrepid clairvoyants can
see two globes that constantly interact
with one another,
as though they're altering the
metamorphic face of one another,
as though they're involved in a chess game that never ends.
The two globes are connected like a magician's golden rings,
and the degree to which they're interacting with one another
depends upon the caprice of the magician.
Of course the magician makes sure to occasionally balance
these globes in a fashion that creates a palpable harmony,
an art piece of symmetry and profundity.
And at times the opposite is attempted.
