Remembrance Day.

I look upon this day differently than most people. Remembering the veterans that passed on to the other shore in WWII is fine for people who want to sport their poppies, but I think the day may have a deeper significance. For me, Remembrance Day is a momento mori---a reminder that all is fleeting here on this plane of existence, therefore all must make efforts to overcome the magnetic pull of entropy. The momento mori also reminds us of our vulnerable situation here on earth, and reminds us that the mortal rinds we wear over our immortal regalia must be tossed away in the end. The fact that this day is 11/11 is also significant. At the website www.crystalinks.com, one can find this beautiful passage about the significance of 11/11:

"Physical reality is a consciousness program created by digital codes. Numbers, numeric codes, define our existence. Human DNA, our genetic memory, is encoded to be triggered by digital codes at specific times and frequencies. Those codes awaken the mind to the change and evolution of consciousness. 11:11 is one of those codes, meaning activation of DNA."

God bless.
