My Brief Encounter With The UFO

It was the first night of the Folk Fest 2007. I was determined to drink ayahuasca. The venture out to the Fest was a great reprieve from work, and I was certainly ready to get ensconced in the tranquil grass blades, an experience which is like medicine for the city-sequestered heart. Because I was drinking ayahuasca, I wanted to move away from the hustle and bustle of the Folk Fest party-going. So I moved to a spacious field behind Pope's Hill and got ready to drink. I drank a pungent cup of the brew and then laid down and waited for the trip to seize me like an austere vice on a piece of wood. Because the flies were so vexing, I eventually stood up and looked into the sky. At this moment I noticed the object.

The object was like a star in the sense that it was stationary, but it didn't behave like a star. Moments later, it really didn't behave like a star. The object got closer to me. Its light was peculiar. Its flight-path was idiosyncratic; it bobbed and weaved like a basketball player trying to mimic the graceful movements of a ballerina. It was almost as if the flying object was somehow educated from a school that specialized in fairy vectors. The object continued to timorously approach me. I analyzed it, and it analyzed me. And then, before my eyes, it somehow turned into a commonplace airplane. But it wasn't a commonplace airplane! Before it even approached me it was silent, and it flew much more like a fractal would if it was compelled to fly.

This was my experience.
