The Cosmic Conversation Being Held Right Now Between Every Single Thing

When in a conversation, usually we try to compact and compress our nouns, verbs, adjectives, prefixes, and suffixes into one glorious syntactical moment that may last thirty seconds or so, and then we wait for a response that is equally as compact and compressed. This is fine and dandy for conversations that conjure up the angels and demons of small talk, but what about conversations that conjure up the angels and demons of "cosmic talk"? With "cosmic talk," we're talking about a different time scale, one which is stretched out over the ebb and flow of sidereal time. This flow of time is large and gargantuan. Small talk seems like an infinitesimal bleep that is almost inaudible vis-a-vis the time it would take to complete a truly cosmic conversation. Conversely, if we were to try to squeeze a cosmic conversation into a meeting at the hair salon, the conversation would resemble the slow thrum of two detuned cellos crying like morose humpback whales. So, I ask, what are we trying to say as a species? Are we just trying to lump together some idle conversations, or are we trying to create a symphony of grandeur that outlasts the epic burning of the sun?
