The Palace Made of Infinite Light

I journeyed to the breath-taking palace
of marble sentience just once before, when
my mind solved the tenacious flesh riddle that kept me anchored
to my mind-forged manacles.
Whoosh! I broke through the gauzy riddle of
little mind and flew into caverns, corridors, and
rarefied passages of astral power.
I zipped past the soul-land of rainbow dragons and
other things of limbo.
I could sense exquisite fire in the dragons, the flames
of the miraculous.
I zoomed beyond the mountains of the ancestors, and even beyond
the sky realm where their ancestors contemplated
the passing of eons within the span of non-seconds.
Whoosh! Whee! Whoopie! Wow!
I purged myself of doubt and allowed the intoxicating
power of astonishment to rise up in me like a golden
song from the depths of the harmonic ocean.
After fully purging doubt from my light soul, I espied
a free-floating palace made from a marble-like
substance that glittered like radiant gems and diamonds.
Whoosh! I propelled myself to one of the myriad shiny
windows adorning the palace, flew in, and found myself
gazing at a room made of divine intangibility. Everything
was shifting in accordance with the whims and caprice
of the unseen, the director behind the spectacle,
the great architect of the universe. For what seemed
like millennia, I ventured in the chambers, rooms,
spires, and loggias of that noble palace.
I filled myself with the light it gave freely.
When I was done with my mind-boggling journey,
I came back to my flesh and scratched my aching
and dizzy head.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
