Eunoia as Meditative Methodology

The matrix of the beauteous is omnipresent. It takes a skilled eye to see its manifold existence unfold. It takes a skilled mind to represent it. We represent it by tracking down the Muse. The Muse shows us the door to the manifold world of beauty always already. We could, as some would say, represent the boundless matrix of the beauteous without the Muse, but I think such a representation would be incomplete. Only by finding the Muse do we find the great way within our own hearts. Only the heart can unleash the lambent soul upon the world. Heart=Muse. Muse=Heart.

Eunoia is a greek word that translates to "beautiful thinking". This is thinking that rises above the barricades of vulgarity like mighty waves do when they crash down upon slimy rocks. This is thinking backed by an interior force that is still until called upon. In times of ribald jokes and superfluous vulgarities, eunoia is practically invisible and eminently subtle. It would have to be. If it wasn't, it would be tarnished and sullied and maimed by the implacable tyrant named Mr. Vulgar. It must remain subtle so it can slowly gain traction in an atmosphere rife with swear words, bad intentions, malice, hate, jests, invectives, and stuff of that ilk. If eunoia became headline news all around the globe, it would lose all its magic. It would be divested of its beauty. Once beauty disappears, the world shall disappear because, as I stated before, "the matrix of the beauteous is omnipresent."

In the Emerald Tablet, Thrice-Great Hermes tells us to "...separate the fine from the coarse, sweetly, with great ingenuity." We must find the traces of sweet eunoia in sour vulgarity and from there learn how to extract a panacea from a time bomb. The future of beauty depends upon it.

Eunoia: the flavor of our favorite mental ice cream, the mental ice cream that licks the majestic from itself.
