Because plants exist in a different time continuum than we do, we assume they're inferior, brainless, and nothing but material entities occupying space. This hubristic intellectual position does nothing but alienate man from his surroundings and his center. The "intellectual position" causes man to live aloof from nature, in a world of abstract concepts that rule a very limited and finite portion of reality. A return to the time continuum of plants reveals the nature of Man's error.
