Coffee

Somewhere in the pale brown brew is an answer to all of life's vapid questions and mind-numbing problems, and yet the answer gloats over the fact it has remained elusive for so long. We keep going back for the elusive answer, not the addiction. The addiction actually forms like a malignant cyst on the neuronal crust of our egos because we crave the elusive answer. With craving comes unwanted side-effects. So when we pour the cream and dissolve the sugar we're really trying to enchant the elusiveness, and we're trying, in a vain fashion mind you, to purloin from the hideously black abyss but a speckle of the golden answer. However, we fail to secure an answer because we fail to acknowledge a simple truth: the coffee only speaks to people who have become elusive themselves.
